Global Citizens International Movement welcomes the efforts by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the need to ban nuclear weapons.

Kazakh Foreign Minister Mokhtar Tleuberdi said that the situation in Ukraine makes the world think about the need to ban nuclear weapons. He wrote about this in his article published in the Kazakh newspaper Liter.

“The military conflict in Ukraine talks about the return of nuclear weapons makes us think about the collective vulnerability of humanity and the need to ban and eliminate these deadly weapons,“ Tleuberdi said.
